Biography

Francesco Luigi Celico

Franceso Luigi Celico was brought into this world on January 9th 1978 in Belleview New Jersey. Francesco was known as “Frankie” to most of us. He was the younger brother of Carmine and the proud son of Carlo and Finita Celico. As a young boy Frankie always loved and enjoyed spending time with his Family. Growing up in Lyndhurst New Jersey, both Frankie and Carmine were well known in the community for their Wrestling and soccer achievements. In 1993 the Celico family moved to Palm Coast, Florida. Shortly after the move, the family opened Celico Auto Body in Bunnell, Florida. Both Frank and Carmine worked at the body shop along with their father. It was at the shop were the two brothers developed a passion for cars and racing. Frank owned Firebirds, Low Riders, Mustangs, Corvettes, BMWs, Mercedes and motorcycles just to name a few. The two brothers were inseparable and became known for their Ford Mustangs in town. In 1999 Frank and his brother Carmine both enrolled in the police academy and shortly after graduating, Frank was hired by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office. For the next 11 years Frank proudly served the department and his community, later being promoted to Sergeant. As a supervisor in charge of the bike patrol for the department he was actively involved in teaching bike safety courses to the children in the community. Frank made friends everywhere he went, always taking a moment out of his day to make them feel special or at the very least, feel noticed. During his off duty time, Frank enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities and was loved and respected by his friends, family and co-workers alike.

Frankie was only thirty three when he suddenly passed  on September 9, 2011, but in his short life he touched the lives of so many.
